Alba's call for donors

Alba loves anime, animals, and scuba diving (she got her license when she was only ten!). She loves to cook, and wants to be a chef when she grows up. She should be busy with school, friends, and weekend plans…

Instead, she is undergoing intensive treatment after her acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) returned earlier this year.

She’s currently waiting for a stem cell transplant, but she has no matching donor. But YOU have the power to help her!

Alba’s mum, Esther, says: "The hope I have to keep holding onto is that somewhere in the world, there may already be someone who could save my daughter's life… they just don't know they're needed yet.

"It costs nothing and only takes a few minutes. But for someone waiting for a stem cell transplant, it could mean everything."
